About the scholarship

The Matt Bochenek Scholarship was created to support student-athletes and families navigating the financial challenges of youth sports.

By helping cover costs like program fees, travel, and required equipment, the scholarship ensures athletes can continue to participate, grow, and belong — regardless of financial circumstance.

This scholarship reflects Matt’s belief in community, access, and showing up for others.

How this scholarship supports athletes and families

With every donation, we've been able to reach farther and do more. In just the past 12 months, we’ve provided resources to over 50 grassroots initiatives, supported 100+ volunteers working on the ground, and directly impacted communities facing real challenges—with real solutions. From mental health support to educational access, you turned ideas into measurable change.
